Morning sickness is a symptom that happens to most women when they become pregnant. The sickness includes nausea and vomiting. It normally happens in the morning. However, some of the women can have it during the day or night.

- Avoid foods with smells, spicy or oily foods. These foods can make you nauseous.
- Eat more carbohydrates.
- Some prenatal vitamins contain iron which can cause morning sickness. If you suspect that your sickness is related to the vitamins, talk to your doctor.
- You should have a few saltine crackers to calm your stomach when you just wake up.
- If possible, find some “acupressure” wrist band to wear. It is a band used by passenger on boats to prevent sea sickness. It helps reduce morning sickness in women. So, you should get one from drugstore, boating stores or travel agencies.
