Product Description

Turn your own clothes into maternity wear! Belly Belt Combo is our award-winning original favorite that is now loved the world over. Each kit contains two different size button up belts, two different size slide belts and three fabric panels (white, denim, black) that cover the gap. It's truly the maternity wear solution! Each pregnancy is different, but this Bellybelt can be worn by some women until they go into labor! It depends on how your pregnancy progresses and what's in your wardrobe already. Stretchy or slightly larger clothes (to accomodate a growing bottom and legs) maximize the wear you'll get from your Bellybelt. Most women get at least 3 months when they can use Bellybelt to adapt their own clothes into maternity wear. If your Bellybelt feels uncomfortable in any way, we suggest you go up to the next belt size, or discontinue wearing. To Use: Slip the BellyBelt that's most suited to your size through a fabric panel. Button the BellyBelt into your trousers or skirt using existing buttons and buttonholes. Tuck in the panel, then simply add your favorite maternity or large shirt or jacket. No more of the traditional bands that slip and constantly need to be adjusted and pulled up or down. The versatility of this product allows it to be worn post-pregnancy too. Combine with our Be-Hold Maternity Belly Band products for a complete maternity solution. Product Designed in Australia.

I bought this after I bought the Bellaband, which I felt was very uncomfortable and just too tight. I wish I'd bought these first! These Belly Belts are perfect. It's just right for me in my 2nd trimester, but there are also larger sizes for later on. I'm excited that I'll be able to wear my clothes and not be limited to expensive maternity clothes.
Very helpfull

Reviewer: Noellia M. Fernandez V,
I'm five month prengnancy now, and I didn't buy a pregnancy pants, all my pants fits in this. I suggest if you are thinking to buy this product to check your pants buttons, because for mee the two options offered by the product works in all my pants, so, I'm working using my prepregnancy pants, and I save a lot of money, because I don't have to buy new pants for job, and if you combine this with the belly bands, you can cover the unziped pants in a fashion way.
Love It!

Works great for me

These are really useful. I am now 4 months pregnant with my 3rd child, and lent all my maternity smalls and mediums to a friend out of state and haven't gotten them back yet. I was so tired of wearing sweatpants every day, but did not want to spend any more money on maternity clothes, seeing as how I already have a full wardrobe--even if it is a couple hundred miles away. These were a great solution... However, I was a size 4 when I got pregnant, but now most of my size 4s are too small in the thighs and bum, but luckily I had recently lost a lot of weight and also had a bunch of size 6's which now fit perfectly with the bands on the smallest setting. I don't even find myself pulling my pants up often with these on, even though they are unbuttoned and mostly unzipped. I think I will be able to wear my "regular" clothes throughout most of my pregnancy with these, and get back into them right after I deliver. I wish I knew about these with my other pregnancies! **Note however that these would not have worked for me if I didn't have the next size up pants!**

Can you exercise when pregnant? This question may come up to many people mind when they are pregnant. They may want to exercise to keep energizing their bodies. The answer to that question is yes you can and you should do so. Exercise can help your body to work more properly and your delivery will be easier. However, there are some precautions that you have to pay attention including:

As a pregnant woman, you will find that
-Your blood volume increases by 40%.
-Your heart rate increases by 15 beats per minute.
-Your breathing increases. You will need more oxygen when you exercise than other women will.
-You have different hormone level than non-pregnant ladies.
-You have to carry your fetus weight in your body.

There are several things that you can do and cannot do. Here are some of the activities that are considered safe. They can be exercises for pregnant women.

-You can use walking as exercise. This is one of most convenient exercises without much side effect. Walking is easy and painless. Make sure that you select the comfortable shoes and you will be fine.

-You can swim. Swimming is another good form of exercise for pregnant women. You weight will not be a problem when you are in water. If you don’t know how to swim, water walking is also acceptable.

-You can do moderate aerobic exercise. You can get moving and have fun during the aerobics. Remember to notice your body and don’t go for any heavy dance that many hurt your body. If you feel pain or dizzy, stop and consult your doctor.

-Water aerobics. This is what many people recommend. You can check out some of the pregnancy programs that facilitate this type of exercise. The exercise is suitable for pregnancy since it doesn’t cause any damage to the body.

-You can also use stationary bike. This is another good exercise since it is a non-weight bearing exercise. This makes the exercise safe on the body of pregnant ladies.

Pregnant women can and should exercise. Despite the changes in the body, pregnant ladies still have a lot of choices on exercising. This article gives a few of those safe choices to be chosen.

Weight Gain during Pregnancy: Am I too Fat?

You will definitely have weight gain during pregnancy. That is natural process. The point is that the gain should not be too high. A lot of women get pregnant and their figures have not been the same since. In this article, we are going to discuss how you can be pregnant and be in a good shape during and after the period.

The first thing that you will need to know is if you are now overweight. Check out your body mass index (BMI) and see what level of weight and body figure you are having right now. The Institute of Medicine (IOM) gives the following guideline:

Healthy range: BMI = 18.5-24.9
Underweight: BMI = Below 18.5
Overweight: BMI = 25-29.9
Obese: BMI = Over 30

If your pre-pregnancy weight is in healthy range, you should look for gaining 1-5 pounds in the first trimester and 1 pound per week for the rest of pregnancy.

If you are underweight before you are pregnant, you should gain 28 -40 pounds. For the one who is overweight, she should gain 15-25 pounds. Lastly, if you are obese, you should gain between 11-20 pounds.

Once you know your level of weight and what weight gain you should expect, you will then have to do a certain things to make sure that your weight gain during pregnancy will not be too much. The steps include:

1 Eat healthy diet which is good for your baby and yourself. Find out the menus that are useful for you and have them prepared for you daily.

2 Exercise enough. If you have never exercised, you should start now. The process will help your delivery and improve your metabolism. However, you will need the right information on the right exercise program. Do some research and you will find how to work that out.

3 Monitor you emotion. Your emotion can be swinging because of hormone. So, it is a good time to learn to control it. May be you should learn to meditate or practice yoga. That will help. Good mood will keep your eating habit in order and your exercise on schedule.

Having weight gain during pregnancy is normal. But you will need to learn how to control it in an optimum level. The three tips in this article will help you to go through that.

I look fat and ugly during my pregnancy. Am I? Learn how to avoid that with Pregnancy without Pounds

The Pregnancy Countdown Book starts on Day 280 and counts down the biggest milestones every step of the way with one page of helpful information for each day of your pregnancy. Here are tips from doctors and midwives, amusing anecdotes and quotes, and occasional gory-but-necessary details (if you can define the word 'lochia,' you know what we're talking about).

Every page offers an interesting revelation. On Day 231, your baby will be the size of a blueberry but by Day 168, he'll be the size of a large avocado. By Day 124, you'll need to stop sleeping on your back; by Day 90, air travel becomes a dicey proposition. And if you haven't planned the nursery by Day 45, you're playing with fire.

A perfect gift for expecting moms of all ages, The Pregnancy Countdown Book is a delightfully irreverent look at the craziest nine months of your life.

If you just knew that you got pregnant, congratulations! I guess you were happy when you heard the news. If not, that is the fact that you will have to face. There is nothing bad about it, believe me. It is one of the rewarding moments in your life. In this article, we will be discussing what to do when you know that you are pregnant.

Apart from making appointment with your doctor and scheduling your regular visits to make sure that you have positive or normal progress on your pregnancy, you will have to change some of your habits. Here are some of the changes that you can make by yourself:

1 Quit eating all unhealthy foods and start having healthy ones
You know what I mean. There are many unhealthy foods around you. They are bad for yourself and your baby. You will have to start to notice and change your eating habit. Avoid all oily and high calories foods and start looking for more natural and healthy ones. If you stick onto it, you will be able to have this habit with you for many years or may be for the rest of your life. Make sure that you have enough fibers and vegetables to prevent you from having constipation during pregnancy. Start now and you will be very happy with it.

2 Having small meals and have some healthy snacks often
Studies show that having small meals instead of three big meals helps reducing weight. Although you don’t want to lose weight during your pregnancy, having this habit can help you not gaining too much weight. In the end, you don’t have to lose too much weight after the delivery.
You will have to choose the right snacks with low calories. Take small portions each time you take snack. You will feel healthier eating this way.

3 Drinking sufficient amount of water: no soda please
Water is important for your metabolism and many of other body systems. Have at least 2 liters of water drinking is a must during your pregnancy. Soda is bad since it can give you gas and uncomfortable feeling. Stop that if you want to have a healthy pregnancy.

4 Exercise with the right way
If you don’t exercise, you should start now. Being pregnant require some exercises so that you can be healthy during the delivery. Follow the right exercise guide and you will be good with it.

Product Description

Announcing a brand new, cover-to-cover revision of America's pregnancy bible. What to Expect When You're Expecting is a perennial New York Times bestseller and one of USA Today's 25 most influential books of the past 25 years. It's read by more than 90% of pregnant women who read a pregnancy book--the most iconic, must-have book for parents-to-be, with over 14.5 million copies in print.

Now comes the Fourth Edition, a new book for a new generation of expectant moms--featuring a new look, a fresh perspective, and a friendlier-than-ever voice. It's filled with the most up-to-date information reflecting not only what's new in pregnancy, but what's relevant to pregnant women. Heidi Murkoff has rewritten every section of the book, answering dozens of new questions and including loads of new asked-for material, such as a detailed week-by-week fetal development section in each of the monthly chapters, an expanded chapter on pre-conception, and a brand new one on carrying multiples. More comprehensive, reassuring, and empathetic than ever, the Fourth Edition incorporates the most recent developments in obstetrics and addresses the most current lifestyle trends (from tattooing and belly piercing to Botox and aromatherapy). There's more than ever on pregnancy matters practical (including an expanded section on workplace concerns), physical (with more symptoms, more solutions), emotional (more advice on riding the mood roller coaster), nutritional (from low-carb to vegan, from junk food–dependent to caffeine-addicted), and sexual (what's hot and what's not in pregnant lovemaking), as well as much more support for that very important partner in parenting, the dad-to-be.

Overflowing with tips, helpful hints, and humor (a pregnant woman's best friend), this new edition is more accessible and easier to use than ever before. It's everything parents-to-be have come to expect from What to Expect... only better.

Amazon.com Exclusive
An Essay from Heidi Murkoff
What to Expect started with information--or, actually, lack of information. In fact, when I found out I was expecting for the first time--I didn't have the slightest idea of what to expect. And back then, it wasn't as easy to find out what to expect as you'd think. I created What to Expect When You're Expecting because I couldn't find the answers to my questions or the reassurance for my worries that I was searching for in the pregnancy books I read (and believe me, I read plenty). I was a mom on a mission--a mission to help other moms and dads worry less and enjoy their pregnancies (and their babies, and their toddlers) more. And I've been on that mission ever since.

So what sent me back to recreate What to Expect--for a fourth time? Today, there's definitely no lack of information on pregnancy. In fact there's more information than ever before (a quick online search of pregnancy or a glance at pages and pages of pregnancy and parenting options right here on Amazon will clue you in on that). But often what's still hard to find is the right kind of information. Information that's accurate yet empathetic, reassuring yet realistic--that empowers you, but doesn't overwhelm or confuse you, that guides you but doesn't dictate to you. And it's not just about the right information, it's about information that's presented in the way that's most helpful--easy to access, easy to digest, easy to use. It's about information that makes your pregnant life less stressful--more enjoyable, and, well, easier.

The fourth edition is a new What To Expect for a new generation of readers--you!--and I'm excited to say it's the best What To Expect yet. It's packed with all new information, of course (since things tend to change quickly in the baby-making and baby-delivering business--something you're probably all too aware of already if you've made more than one trip to the birthing room). But it doesn't only take into account what's new in obstetrics and what's new in pregnancy; it takes into account what's relevant to pregnant women now. Lifestyle. Working. Eating on the run. Juggling the pregnant life with real life. Keeping up with relationships. Birthing options that are family friendly and pregnancy care that incorporates the best that complimentary and alternative medicine has to offer. Managing multiples (which more and more moms are carrying). Sorting out the information from the misinformation--the reality from the hype, fact from Internet legend.

The fourth edition also takes into account how you likely use books these days, so the format is even more accessible than ever. More geared to in-the-moment, find-it-in-a-flash reading.

Most important of all, the fourth edition celebrates pregnancy. I have a passion for pregnancy, and always have. I love moms, I love dads, and I love babies. But everything about this fourth edition from the happy, excited mom-to-be on the cover, proudly caressing her beautiful belly and its even more beautiful contents, to the adorable week-by-week description of the making of your baby, to the positive (yet realistic), mom-to-mom tone throughout--this fourth edition is not just an explanation of those 9 amazing (though often bewildering) months you have ahead of you. It's a celebration of them.

What to Expect When You're Expecting fourth edition is everything moms and dads have come to expect from What to Expect... only better. And I can't wait to start sharing it with you.

I guess you can say--I'm a proud mama all over again.

--Heidi Murkoff

If you are like most of the mothers, you want to get back in shape as soon as possible. Yes, having a baby is great. But being fat after pregnancy is not so pleasant. So, what are you going to do to achieve that? Well, there are many ways. Some of them are very easy to implement. Some require right knowledge to do. In this article, we are going to give some tips on how you can have fast weight loss after pregnancy.

1 Take good care of your diet

You may say that this is common sense. Yes, it is but many do not know the right formula to make it work. If you are not a nutritionist who really practices what you know, you are probably one of them. Learn more about what you should and should not eat after you have the delivery. Use that knowledge to design your daily meal plan. The fundamental knowledge is to avoid having high carbohydrate and high calories. More fiber will have many benefits during that time.

2 Have Breast feeding

This is another great way to have fast weight loss after pregnancy. This will not only help your body burn more fat, but it will also give stronger bond between you and your baby. Studies show that new mom can burn calories more if she breast-feeds her baby.

3 Exercise more

If you are not into this word now, get familiar with it if you want to lose weight fast. There is no easy and quick way without stretching out your body. The good news is that it is not a complicate process. Once you get used to it, you will automatically like it and want to do it regularly. And if you are discipline enough, the habit will stick with you and give your health several benefits in a long run.

4 Have enough rest

Sleep well and you will have more energy during the day. You will enjoy life more and can fight for your baby. Enough sleep will also help hormone regulation and your appetite will be kept normal during the day. You can control your eating habit easier if your body works well.

Four tips given here are to help you have a fast weight loss after pregnancy. There may be several more but these are major ones.

If you want to lose weight after pregnancy without doing much research, why don’t you check out the book which has everything that you need? It helps thousands of people succeed in losing weight after pregnancy without harming themselves.
